Lake Street Drive is an American Multi genre band that was formed in 2004. The original members consist of Rachel Price, Mike Olson, Bridget Kearney and Mike Calabrese, but as of 2021 Mike Olson has left the group and Akie Bermiss, and James Cornelison have joined to create the group we know and love today.

They had initially formed the group as a ‘free country band’ and intended to play country music only but ended up abandoning that idea for this multi genre ide that they thought was better. Being multi genre was a game changer for them as they now reach so many more fans through all the different genres.

Lake Street Drives name was inspired by the Bryant Lake Bowl which was a frequent hangout location for the band in the early years of their startup. In 2013 and 2014 they played over three hundred gigs in one hundred and seventy-five different cities over forty-three different states and eight countries which is an insane number of gigs! This also got them a whole lot of recognition and a solid following of amazing supporters. They went on to sell out in over forty venues at the start of 2014.

They managed to lessen the number of gigs between 2017 and 2018 with only doing one hundred and eighty-three tour dates, but they spread it out over North America, Europe, Japan, New Zealand and Australia, making this the most worldwide tour they had, meeting fans all throughout the world.

In 2022 they released “Fun Machine the sequel” and the band described the Extended play in the following words “Imagine you walk into your favourite local dive bar and Lake Street Drive is on stage doing their regular weekly gig for $5 a head. These are the songs we would be covering there and how we would be playing them, some deep cuts, some sentimental favourites, and (Hopefully) some epic crowd pleasers.”

With all this in mind you won’t want to miss out on a single hit they have prepared so go and hit that “Buy Tickets Now” button and get ready for your favourite hits to be played.
